REAPER drill bits are made of a patented, high-molybdenum alloy that stands the test of time. The 135-degree split point allows for a successful drill start without pre-drilling or pre-punching. The precision ground flutes, nitro-carburized finished, and extra-wide web design facilitate fast chip removal, thus preventing bits from heating up, becoming brittle, and breaking like other bits. Reaper drill bits cut stainless steel, spring steel, even A grade 8 bolts, like a hot knife through cold butter! And unlike conventional round shanks, all Reaper fractional drill bits come with 3 ground flats on sizes 3/16” and up, preventing chuck slippage.
